Summary
This study tests whether giving antimalarial drugs to entire communities, along with targeted treatment for those at highest risk, can reduce malaria transmission in the Sahel region. About 18,000 people in 50 villages in Senegal will take part over two years. The goal is to clear hidden infections that fuel spread during the rainy season.
