NCT ID NCT07737340

First seen Jul 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 31, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study follows 250 people newly diagnosed with HIV and 161 healthy volunteers over five years to see who develops metabolic fatty liver disease (MASLD). Researchers use annual blood tests, ultrasounds, and FibroScans to measure liver fat and stiffness. The goal is to uncover risk factors that make people with HIV more prone to liver problems.
