First seen Jun 12, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 12, 2026
Summary
This study reviewed the medical records of 27 patients with alcoholic hepatitis or acute liver failure who received a treatment called MARS (a type of dialysis that cleans the blood). The goal was to see if MARS helps patients survive without needing a liver transplant and to compare outcomes between different patient groups. The research was done at a single hospital and did not involve giving any new treatment to patients.
