NCT ID NCT06981507
Summary
This study aims to understand if a common orthodontic procedure to widen the upper jaw affects how people speak. Researchers will track 30 teens and young adults receiving this treatment, recording their speech before, during, and after the process. The goal is to learn if the procedure causes any temporary or lasting changes to speech sounds, helping doctors better inform future patients.
