Massage may boost breast milk for C-Section moms

NCT ID NCT07077655

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether two simple massage methods—the Marmet technique and oxytocin massage—can increase the amount of breast milk in mothers who had a C-section. About 123 first-time mothers will be randomly assigned to one of three groups: Marmet technique, oxytocin massage, or a light touch (placebo). Researchers will measure milk volume and anxiety levels before and after the massage to see if these techniques help.
