Two-for-One workout: marching with brain games tested to help seniors with diabetes

NCT ID NCT07330700

Summary

This study tested if a special exercise program could help older adults with type 2 diabetes. For eight weeks, one group did marching exercises combined with simple mental tasks, while another group received standard care. Researchers measured changes in walking ability, balance, thinking skills, and heart health to see if this combined approach was more helpful than usual care alone.
