Summary
This early-stage study tested a new experimental vaccine designed to protect against Marburg virus disease, a severe and often fatal illness. Thirty-six healthy adults received either the vaccine or a placebo shot to check for safety issues and see if it triggered an immune response. Researchers monitored participants for six months to find the safest dose for future testing.
