First seen Jan 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study looks at whether playing with marbles can help children in grades 1-3 improve their hand grip strength and handwriting skills. About 46 kids will be split into two groups: one will play with marbles in one-on-one sessions, and the other will have regular free play. Researchers will measure changes in handwriting legibility and hand strength to see if this simple, low-cost activity works.
