First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at a rare cancer of the head and neck called adenoid cystic carcinoma. Researchers want to understand why some people's cancer grows slowly while others' spreads faster. They will study tumor samples and take blood tests from 114 adults with metastatic disease. No new treatments are given—this is purely an information-gathering study to find biological markers that could guide future personalized care.
