Supplement tested to ease aches and pains of aging
NCT ID NCT06444763
Summary
This study tested whether a dietary supplement called Maolactin™ FMR could help reduce chronic inflammation, muscle pain, and joint stiffness in generally healthy adults aged 45 and older. For 8 weeks, 97 participants took either the supplement or a placebo pill, without knowing which one they received. Researchers measured changes in blood markers of inflammation and asked participants about their pain, mobility, and fatigue to see if the supplement made a difference.
