First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026

Summary

This study looks at two ways of helping older patients breathe when they first go under anesthesia for surgery. One method uses manual bag squeezing, the other uses a machine called AutoFlow. Researchers will measure oxygen levels in the brain and body to see which method works better. About 106 people aged 65 and older will take part.
