New study tests Hands-On therapy to ease Post-Surgery shoulder pain

NCT ID NCT07266623

Summary

This study is testing two physical therapy approaches to help women who develop painful, tight cords in their armpit and shoulder after breast cancer surgery (mastectomy). Researchers will compare a standard muscle energy technique against that same technique combined with a gentle joint traction method. The goal is to see which approach better reduces pain, improves shoulder movement, and helps with daily activities over six weeks of treatment.
