First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding a special hands-on technique (fascial manipulation) to a standard perineal massage can improve quality of life for women with pain during sex. Fifty Portuguese women with this condition took part. They were split into two groups: one received both treatments, the other only massage. The goal was to see if the combo reduced pain and improved sexual function and emotional well-being.
