Summary
This study tested a multi-step treatment plan for adults with a type of blood cancer called mantle cell lymphoma. The plan involved strong chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant using the patient's own cells, and then several years of ongoing maintenance therapy with a drug called obinutuzumab. The goal was to see if this intensive approach could better control the cancer and keep it from returning.
