Summary
This study tested whether custom-made surgical stents and plates can help doctors more accurately fix broken jaw bones. Seven patients with a specific type of jaw fracture received the personalized implants. Researchers compared CT scans before and after surgery to see how well the bone pieces were aligned, and also measured how long the operation took.
