Can coloring calm new moms? study tests art for postpartum anxiety
NCT ID NCT07448636
Summary
This study aims to see if a simple art activity—coloring mandala patterns—can help mothers feel less anxious and tired, and more confident and bonded with their babies after a cesarean section. Researchers will enroll 140 women who recently had a C-section. Half will color mandalas twice a week for five weeks, while the other half will receive standard care, to compare their levels of anxiety, fatigue, breastfeeding confidence, and mother-infant bonding.
