Art therapy eases new Moms' stress, strengthens baby bond after tough birth
NCT ID NCT07461922
Summary
This study tested whether a special art activity could help first-time mothers who had a difficult birth experience feel more connected to their babies and more confident as parents. Sixty-six new moms were randomly assigned to either do a guided mandala drawing session focused on relaxation or a simple free coloring activity. Researchers measured changes in the mothers' feelings toward their infants, their parenting confidence, and their anxiety levels before and after the single session.
