Cancer Patients' pain relief strategies put under the microscope
NCT ID NCT07192770
Summary
This study aimed to understand and improve the management of bone pain, a frequent side effect of a drug (G-CSF) given to support patients during chemotherapy for solid tumors. Researchers observed 128 patients to see how different pain relief methods, like painkillers and other supportive care, affected their pain levels, quality of life, and other symptoms. The goal was to gather real-world information to help doctors better care for patients experiencing this specific type of treatment-related pain.
