Summary
This study aims to understand how poor nutrition before surgery affects breathing and kidney function in people with achalasia. Researchers will observe 60 patients undergoing a specific throat procedure called POEM. They will check patients' nutrition levels before surgery and monitor for breathing or kidney problems afterward to see if there's a connection.
