Massive study aims to rewrite the rules for malignant hypertension

Summary
This study is building a large database of 1,200 people with malignant hypertension, a severe form of high blood pressure that can damage organs quickly. Researchers will track patients for five years to learn how the disease behaves today and how doctors treat it. The goal is to update the definition and diagnosis of the condition, and eventually set the stage for better clinical trials and treatment recommendations.
