10-Year hunt for clues in Men's chronic skin condition

NCT ID NCT06984263

Summary

This study aims to learn more about lichen sclerosus in men, a chronic skin condition that can cause tight foreskin and scarring. Researchers will follow 300 Swedish men for up to 10 years to see how standard treatments work long-term, what factors might increase risk, and how the disease affects daily life and sexual health. The study is observational, meaning it watches and measures what happens with current care rather than testing a new treatment.
