Could a common Anti-Inflammatory drug help men conceive?
NCT ID NCT01407484
Summary
This study tested whether treating inflammation in the male reproductive system could improve sperm health and fertility. Researchers enrolled 200 men with infertility and signs of inflammation in their semen. They compared a common anti-inflammatory steroid (prednisone) against a placebo to see if reducing inflammation could improve sperm quality over six months.
