New male 'Gel Vasectomy' tested for safety in first human trial
NCT ID NCT05134428
Summary
This study tested the safety of a new male contraceptive called the ADAM System. It involved 25 healthy men who received an injection of a special gel into their vas deferens to block sperm. The goal was to see if this procedure was safe and could provide a long-lasting but potentially reversible form of birth control for men.
