Scientists test shot to block recurring malaria
NCT ID NCT07373301
Summary
This study is testing an experimental vaccine designed to protect adults from getting malaria caused by the Plasmodium vivax parasite. Seventy-two healthy adults will receive either the vaccine or a placebo shot. Later, they will be deliberately exposed to malaria-carrying mosquitoes under strict medical supervision to see if the vaccine prevents infection.
