Ghana launches massive Community-Wide attack on malaria
NCT ID NCT07389057
Summary
This study aims to see if giving malaria medicine to everyone in a community, regardless of whether they feel sick, can drastically cut down on malaria infections and stop the disease from spreading. It will involve about 9,000 people in Ghana and compare a new two-drug combination given every two months to current standard care. The goal is to provide evidence for a new strategy to control and potentially eliminate malaria in high-risk areas.
