AI tool aims to spot kids most likely to die from malaria
NCT ID NCT07355426
Summary
This study aimed to create a better tool to predict which children hospitalized with severe malaria are at the highest risk of dying. Researchers looked at data from 100 children in the Democratic Republic of Congo to see if machine learning could find patterns in their symptoms and test results. The goal is to help doctors identify the sickest children faster so they can get the most urgent care.
