New study aims to keep kids Malaria-Free after hospital stays

Summary

This study tests different ways to help children in Kenya take malaria prevention medicine after being hospitalized for severe malaria or severe anemia. About 600 children under 10 will receive a 3-course treatment with dihydroartemisinin-piperaquine. The goal is to find the best delivery and support strategies to ensure children complete all doses and avoid readmission.
