Summary
This study tested a lab-made antibody called TB31F to see if it could safely help stop the spread of malaria. Researchers in Mali gave the antibody to 167 adults and children who are regularly exposed to malaria to check for side effects and to see if it reduced the chance of mosquitoes picking up the parasite from them. The goal is to add a new tool to prevent malaria transmission in communities.
