Can a Hands-On therapy help people walk easier with chronic back pain?

NCT ID NCT07448311

Summary

This study tested whether adding a specific hands-on joint mobilization technique (Maitland mobilization) to standard physical therapy could improve walking patterns, reduce pain, and decrease disability in adults with chronic lower back and leg pain caused by nerve compression. It involved 46 participants aged 35-45 who had experienced pain for over 12 weeks. The research measured changes in how people walked, muscle activity, pain levels, and overall disability.
