Scientists zap spines to find future bowel control fix

NCT ID NCT07192328

Summary

This study tested different settings of non-invasive magnetic stimulation on the brain and lower spine in healthy young women. The goal was to find the most effective stimulation patterns to use in future treatments for people with fecal incontinence who don't respond to standard care. Researchers measured muscle responses to determine which settings worked best.
