Magnetic pulses target hand pain in new carpal tunnel trial

NCT ID NCT07327723

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive treatment called repetitive peripheral magnetic stimulation (rPMS) can help reduce pain and improve hand function in people with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real magnetic stimulation treatment or a sham (fake) treatment, alongside standard hand exercises. Researchers will measure changes in pain, hand strength, and nerve function to see if the magnetic therapy is effective.
