Magnets for wrist pain? new study tests alternative relief
NCT ID NCT07435961
Summary
This study is testing if a non-invasive treatment using low-frequency magnetic fields can help reduce pain and improve hand function in people with mild-to-moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to receive either real magnet therapy, fake (placebo) therapy, or standard care, which includes a wrist splint and hand exercises. Researchers will measure changes in pain, hand strength, and nerve function over three months to see if the magnet therapy provides meaningful relief.
