Magnets used to reconnect blocked intestines in new surgical trial
NCT ID NCT07317076
Summary
This study is testing a new magnetic device designed to help people with certain types of bowel blockages. The device uses two magnets placed inside the gut to gently create a new connection, bypassing the blocked area. Researchers will check if the magnets can be placed correctly, pass safely on their own, and successfully create a working new passage.
