Could a simple mouth spray quiet a nagging cough?

NCT ID NCT07003347

Summary

This small study tested whether a magnesium-based mouth spray could safely reduce coughing in adults with a chronic cough that hasn't responded to other treatments. Participants used the spray or a placebo for 14 days while their cough frequency and severity were measured. The goal was to see if the spray could ease this persistent and disruptive symptom.
