Can a simple pill make Jaw-Widening braces work better?
NCT ID NCT07309640
Summary
This study is testing if taking magnesium supplements can improve the results of a special orthodontic treatment for adults with a narrow upper jaw. The treatment uses a device to gently widen the jawbone over several weeks. Researchers will compare patients who get the device alone to those who also take magnesium pills, measuring jaw changes and asking about pain.
