Magnesium may ease pain after prostate surgery, new study finds

Summary

This study tests whether giving magnesium sulfate during prostate surgery can lower pain and the need for strong painkillers. About 68 adults having robotic prostate surgery will either receive magnesium or not. Researchers will measure pain scores, opioid use, and recovery after surgery.
