Magnesium boost tested for stubborn jaw pain

Summary

This study is testing if adding magnesium sulfate to a standard lidocaine injection works better for treating chronic jaw and muscle pain (Myofascial Pain Dysfunction Syndrome). 28 adults with this condition will receive either the standard injection or the injection with magnesium added. Researchers will compare pain levels and muscle activity to see which treatment provides more relief.
