Summary
This study looked at whether giving magnesium sulfate and fentanyl before inserting a breathing tube can prevent sudden rises in blood pressure and heart rate in patients aged 50 and older. 76 people having planned surgery took part. The goal was to find a safer way to manage this common procedure.
