NCT ID NCT07309640

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether taking magnesium supplements can help adults aged 18-30 with a narrow upper jaw get better results from a jaw-widening treatment called Alt-RAMEC. Participants will either receive the jaw treatment alone or with magnesium pills. Researchers will measure changes in jaw structure and muscle activity, and track pain levels to see if magnesium makes the process more comfortable and effective.
