NCT ID NCT07284004
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at 100 adults who had their gallbladder removed at least 5 years ago to see if they are more likely to develop fatty liver disease (MAFLD). Researchers will check for fat in the liver and measure blood markers. The goal is to understand if gallbladder removal leads to long-term metabolic changes that increase fatty liver risk.
