Eye scans could predict vision loss in rare disease

NCT ID NCT07171541

Summary

This study aims to better understand macular dystrophy, a condition that causes progressive central vision loss. Researchers will observe 30 patients to see how detailed pictures of the retina (OCT scans) and measurements of its electrical activity (mf-ERG) relate to their actual vision. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors better monitor the disease and design future treatments.
