Summary
Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma often responds to standard chemo-immunotherapy, but roughly a third of patients do not respond or relapse early. Researchers at the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi are testing machine learning algorithms to predict which patients are likely to be primary refractory. The study follows a cohort of about 50 adults with newly treated DLBCL and compares two algorithms, NBC Classifier and XGBoost, on how well they predict resistance to first-line treatment.
