Summary
This study is testing whether a machine learning tool can accurately detect air leaks in ventilators used by people with chronic respiratory failure. Researchers first trained the tool on lab simulations and 10 patients, then will test it on another 10 patients. The goal is to see if the tool can correctly identify leaks compared to standard monitoring methods.
