Gentle touch & taste: new method aims to soothe and strengthen tiniest babies

NCT ID NCT07216664

Summary

This study is testing if a special feeding method called M-MILK helps babies born very early (before 32 weeks). M-MILK involves gently giving tiny tastes of human milk while also providing comforting touch and smell, starting on the baby's third day of life. Researchers want to see if this approach helps the babies handle stress better, supports healthy brain development, and improves their ability to feed by mouth compared to standard hospital care.
