Scientists test new drug formulation for easier dosing
NCT ID NCT07456800
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new drug called Lyt-100 (deupirfenidone) against an existing drug, pirfenidone, in 116 healthy older adults. The main goal was to see if the new drug is safe, how the body processes it, and if it could be taken fewer times per day. This research helps find the right dose for future studies in people with diseases.
