New scan tracks tumor blood vessels in lymphoma patients

NCT ID NCT02490891

Summary

This study tested a new type of PET scan to see if it could measure changes in blood vessel growth inside lymphoma tumors. Researchers scanned 21 patients with a large tumor mass before and after two rounds of chemotherapy. The goal was to see if this scan could help understand how tumors respond to treatment by looking at their blood supply.
