New wearable device challenges standard care for Post-Cancer swelling
NCT ID NCT07217288
Summary
This study aims to find out which physical therapy works better for reducing arm swelling, pain, and stiffness in women who have had a mastectomy. Researchers will compare the current standard treatment (Complete Decongestive Therapy) with a newer, wearable compression device (Non-Pneumatic Compression Therapy), both combined with routine exercises. The goal is to see which approach improves movement, breathing, and overall quality of life more effectively for 52 participants.
