Pump it up: new study tests if pneumatic compression can fix leg swelling
NCT ID NCT07165340
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether using an advanced pneumatic compression device at home for about 30 days can improve lymphatic function in people with leg swelling caused by chronic venous disease. Researchers will compare a group using the device plus standard compression bandages to a group using only bandages. The goal is to understand how the lymphatic system responds to treatment, not to cure the disease.
