New pill trial aims to shrink painful vascular growths

Summary
This study is testing whether a daily pill called KP-001 can safely shrink abnormal blood or lymph vessel growths and ease related symptoms like pain. It will involve about 150 patients, aged 2 and older, who have these growths and cannot be easily treated with surgery. For the first 6 months, some participants will receive the real pill and others a placebo, before all receive the real treatment for another 6 months.
