New scope technique aims to pinpoint lymph node problems
NCT ID NCT07478913
Summary
This study tested whether specific patterns seen on an ultrasound during a lung scope (EBUS) could help doctors tell if swollen chest lymph nodes are cancerous or benign. Researchers looked at 50 adult patients who had the procedure. They compared the ultrasound pictures with results from lab tests of the lymph node tissue to see if the patterns were accurate.
